| Holiday home Casa Erel consists of a studio and a 2-room apartment, both well maintained and tastefully furnished. An ideal house for a holiday with family or friends, together but with the necessary privacy. Casa Erel lies just below the quiet village of Puntagorda, at 620m above sea level. The area is very quiet. From the terraces you have an excellent view over the countryside and down to the Atlantic Ocean. The terraces are divided from each other by a thick hedge, they are partly covered and have table, chairs, sun beds, parasols and hammocks. | |

In the studio is a lounge area with bed-settee, coffee table and wicker-chairs. There is a double bed and wardrobe. The kitchen area has a dining table, with 3 chairs, ceramic hob, refrigerator and is well equipped. The separate bathroom has a shower, hand basin, and WC. Bed linen, towels and kitchen linen supplied. | |

| The two-room apartment has a living room with kitchen area, a separate bedroom and a bathroom. In the living room area is a bed-settee, coffee table and wicker-chairs. The kitchen area has a dinning table with chairs, ceramic hob, oven, extractor fan and refrigerator. In the bedroom are 2 single beds and wardrobe space. In the bathroom is a shower, hand basin, WC and cupboard. Bed linen, towels and kitchen linen supplied. There is a wood-burning stove for the cooler winter nights. | ||
| The area. |
| Puntagorda, is one of the most beautiful parts of La Palma, it lies on the west side of the island about 1,5 hours drive from the airport. Casa Erel is less than 10 minutes drive from the village centre where there you will find restaurants and typical local bars, supermarkets, shops, a dispensing chemist, post office, banks and cash-dispensers, a butcher, public swimming pool and on Saturdays and Sundays the market in the Mercadillo. A sandy beach and fishing harbour can be found in Tazacorte, about a 30 minutes drive. In the area around Puntagorda there is much for the nature lover to see, there are many footpaths, viewing points, old buildings, a couple of windmills and the nature reserve pine forest El Fayal. At Puntagorda Puerto you can walk down the many steps to the sea and enjoy the views along the rocky cliffs and nature reserve along the coast on the way. In calm weather you can swim in the small pool and the sea. |
